I made a new layout today of me and my husband. I also found 2 layouts that I hadn't shared so I thought I would share them too.

Here is me and my husband in the beginning of our relationship. Gosh, 7 years together now...hard to believe. We've both changed so much since then. Some for the better and some for the worse, funny...I just realized that's the vows we took.

Kit is 'No Room For Gray' by Retrodiva.

Next is a layout of Katie & Marie Christmas 2006. I edited the pictures and the kit is my 'All Wrapped Up' kit.

Here's my puppy when we first got him. He was just 6 weeks old. Sorry but I can't give credit to the creator of the kit. This was the second layout I made with photoshop and I didn't jot the info down. Does anyone know if there's a place to save this info with the file like Paint Shop Pro 8 does??? Anyway, here's the layout. If you are/know the creator please comment me the info so I can give proper credit, thanks.

Layout - Our First Fishing Trip

We had so much fun the day we went fishing. It was Mother's Day and I was so very big and pregnant with Miranda. We walked and walked and walked so my legs and feet were killing me by the time we all got back to our vehicles. My sister-in-law, Rhonda and her husband and oldest boy went with us. Even though I was worn completely out I had a great time. We made some wonderful memories. Edward was actually sober so that made it more special. Katie, Edward and Gus caught a fish. The only thing I caught was a bunch of pictures for membories. Here's a layout that I made from that day...

My Puppy

I took Gizmo out in the snow today and he LOVED it. My friend Tami told me last night that he would love it so I had to take my camera out with me. He was sliding in it, eating it, and just having a blast. Here's some pictures of his first snow experience.
We first got out there and he smelled it...

He ran around like crazy and found his friend, Beagle Dog (named by our daughter)...

And instead of drinking hot chocolate after coming in from the cold, he had a couple of doggie biscuits. His face was still wet from the snow...

I've not done much designing lately. Since I got photoshop I've been trying to figure out the basics and then I plan to start designing with it. But I have made a couple of layouts to show off :) They are of my baby learning to sit up and one of her big blue eyes. Take a peek :) :)

I just wanted to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas! If you don't celebrate Christmas I wish you very happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year. I can't believe this year is almost over. Even though this year seems like it flew by, there have been a lot of wonderful memories made (and a bunch of bad ones). The best thing that happened to me this year was giving birth to my third baby girl. I love my babies and am very thankful for them. Santa is supposed to come tonight and I can't wait until in the morning when they see all those present under the tree. My mom always told my sister and me about how my grandparents always hid the presents until Christmas morning like Santa really came Christmas Eve night. She told how excited they all got Christmas morning but she didn't do that with us. I don't know why. I guess she just got too excited herself and couldn't wait to fill the tree with gifts for us. For the past 5 years I have done like my grandparents did. I hide every present that I can and don't put anything under the tree until the night before Christmas. Now I'm just waiting for my little boogers to go to sleep so I can get everything out of hiding. They're too excited to go to sleep though. They've made 20 trips back in here so far :) Here comes Katie again. Better go. Happy Holidays :) :) :)

Sharing some layouts

The first layout I want to share is one I made recently. I made it with some of my All Wrapped Up kit and some stuff I made while putting the layout together. I made a frame similar to the one in the layout at 300 ppi (I make my layouts at 250 ppi) that I am giving as a freebie. Here is "All I Want For Christmas"

This layout was made a while ago. We spent the day at a local park that has a beautiful lake in it. I used the negative strip graphic in Paint Shop Pro 8.10. Here is "Be Still"

Miranda is 3 months old

Wow, I can't believe she's already 3 months old. She is doing so good. She has rolled from her belly to her back, holds her whole body up in a standing position for long periods of time (she is wobbly, but does really well), and she is laughing out loud. I love to hear her laugh. It's like an angel singing. Children grow way too fast. Here's my little 3 month old angel today in the car. We were waiting to pick Marie & Katie up from school.

Bedroom Project

The Project...re-floor bedroom, paint, put new beds up

The Story...Edward sold his dune buggy to fix Marie & Katie's bedroom floor because it was in BAD shape. I honestly didn't think he would fix it. I thought he'd blow it all on whatever he wanted (and lets not forget...beer). But he fooled me. He did fix their room. We tore the floor out and laid down new plyboard. He asked them what color they wanted their room and they both wanted "pink" because it's their favorite color. Marie also said it was the color for girls and that's why she likes it. We bought them a new carpet and new bunk beds. They had little toddler beds so now they have all kinds of rolling room. They look so tiny in their new beds. I got pink paint and painted all of the walls. I'm not too fond of painted panelling but I'm so sick of the panelling so I went ahead and painted all of the walls and not just the one that was already painted. It looks good, even though it reminds me of pepto bismol. I'm going to get them a Care Bear border to go around it. I'm proud of it. I just have to get their toy box and other stuff back in there. Meet our Doggie Gizmo

We got a new puppy on November 5th. He's a little Shih Tzu we named Gizmo. He is a really good puppy. I'm working on getting him house trained (anyone with a good tip on house training puppies...please let me know :) ). Here's some pictures of him

Isn't he just cute as a button, lol. He should be. We paid $100 for him but I think that as long as he lives he's worth it by far. He's my only boy, gotta love him. So far he is healthy and growing. I hope he keeps it up :)

Rambling about my day...

I'm bored so I thought I would post before going to bed. I've had a pretty alright day; got the girls to school on time, played on the computer designing stuff for my store, cleaned house (except laundry, do that tomorrow), got all of Marie's homework finished and got everyone in bed. Can't complain I guess, lol. My friend Laura gave me some baby clothes and blankets today. They were her boys' baby clothes but a lot of them are unisex so Miranda doesn't look like a little boy wearing them. But of course, there are the little blue outfits that are just too cute, she's wearing one of them right now. There's nothing wrong with a little girl wearing blue :) I'm getting ready to make some more fonts, I've got the alphas scanned, just gotta load them into the program and tweak them to my liking. I'm thinking about selling them and allowing commercial use. I'm just not sure how much to charge. I can put them in my digital store though when I do figure the details out. Well, my eyelids are getting heavier so I'm geading to bed. Later :)

Within the past week my daughter, Marie, has lost 2 teeth. They're both up front and she looks soooo cute. Here's a picture of her showing off her new smile

Isn't she just adorable. The big, top tooth fell out last night and I know she has at least 2 more loose. The Tooth Fairy has been awful busy lately at our house and I think she'll be back very soon :)

I made a double page layout of my new Halloween kits. I was just thinking about how my Hallow's Eve and Frightfully Delightful kits look great togehter and seem to be a huge Halloween Mega kit. If you bought the two kits for 4.50 each and then got the two samplers that go with then, you'd have a great mega kit for under $10. OK, I'll get back on track now. Here are the layouts I made of us carving out pumpkins yesterday. Miranda started to get upset outside so I had to finish the big pumpkin in the house later in the evening. They both got finished though, that's the main thing. Marie and Katie wanted to see them lit up before going to bed and they got to.

Well, I can tell the new has worn off of Miranda for my 4 year old, Katie. She is getting really jealous now. Up until recently she seemed pretty understanding of Miranda's needs on my time. But for in the past week she has started to show some jealousy. She'll demand that I put Miranda down to hold her, expecially when I'm feeding the baby and I can't put her down. She jumps up in my lap and sometimes sits right on top of Miranda and I have to move her. She's even been acting like a little baby again. I don't know what to do. I try to give her special attention every chance I get but it doesn't seem to help. Maybe it's just a faze and she'll soon stop it, I dunno. I hope so though because it's so hard being pulled by my own children. Marie is still understanding with Miranda. But of course, Marie never showed jealousy when I brought Katie home and Marie was 2 months from turning 2. She really surprised me because she didn't have a hard time with the new baby. Ok, I'll stop rambling, lol. But if anyone has any advice or stories to help me realize it's not just us, I'd love to hear them. My email is MemoriesByScraps@yahoo.com

A new layout

Here's a layout of Marie in her costume. She absolutely loves dogs and acts like one all the time. In headstart she actually tore the knees out of all of her pants because she would crawl around acting like a dog. Anyway, she saw this costume and just HAD to have it. Now she can finally be a dog, lol. Now I just gotta keep in in good condition until she can wear it to school on dress up day and wear it out Halloween night.

I finished my tae-bo this morning and took me a good hot bath so now I'm ready to start my day. I am starting to feel a lot better over-all. So whether or not I'm actually losing weight, I'm still benefiting from working my butt off every morning. But I really do think I'm starting to lose a little. I know I can't lose as fast as I would like to but every little bit counts! I've have only been doing tae-bo for the last 3 mornings so I can't expect too much yet, lol. Miranda interrupted me twice yesterday morning but this morning she slept through my whole workout. That helped because it was hard starting back in the middle of such a hard workout. If I can start and finish without those little breaks in between it helps to keep me from quiting before I want to. Well, enough rambling on. I better get my girls ready for school. Later :)

Started Exercising!!!

Ok, I started tae-bo this morning. I got up at 5:30 and packed Edward's bucket and when he left for work I worked out pretty hard for almost 30 minutes. Well, it's a start, I'm outta shape. Then I took a bath so I'm ready to start my day. I feel good and energized so maybe I can clean some when I get home from taking Marie and Katie to school instead of sitting here at my comptuer all day. I done tae-bo every morning for about a week and a half not last summer but the one before and lost a whole 10 pounds without changing my eating habits at all. I don't know if I'll lose that good due to the fact that I just had baby #3 but I was back down to my pre-pregnant weight (171 lbs) within 3 weeks post-partum. And that's what I still weigh and Miranda is now 8 weeks old. I want to weigh between 135 and 145 so I have a LOT of weight to lose. I want to lose AT LEAST 25 pounds and I know it will be hard work but I really want to be smaller than I am. I also need to make myself drink more water...but I'll have to work on that one, lol. I hate water! I should get the little packs of flavoring to put in it I guess. If anyone has any good tips/comments about losing weight, I'm all cyber ears. Or, anyone want to join me and make it fun. Maybe we could challenge each other, I dunno. Well, better go get the girls up and ready for school. Later :)

My new blog

Well, I have been digi scrappin' for 4 years now but I've never had a scrapping blog so here's goes. I love creating layouts of my family and friends. I also design and hope to share some freebies. I have my own store at Venting Out Graphics but I need to add a lot to it. It's hard to find much time with a newborn, 4 year old and 6 year old, but I try to manage. And when I get my store stocked up I'll start advertising. I want to add some word art and some alphas and now that I have a program that allows me to create my own fonts I can do it without having to worry about copywrite issues :) Gonna go now. I'll blog back soon as I get a chance!
